About Us
Loving Care homes are for those adults who are no longer able to live on their own and need assistance with daily living tasks. Our facilities are designed to feel like home, not a medical institution, making us a great alternative to a nursing home. Our professional staff is warm, friendly, and devoted to providing the best possible care. We respect each individual's interests, religion and ethnic traditions and honor them. Here every resident matters and we proudly strive to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of you loved one.
Our vision at Loving Care is to provide a peace, security and comfort for our residents. To give all the family members a peace of mind by providing the best care available. To preserve each person's dignity regardless of their physical condition.
Loving Care Adult Family Homes was established in 1992 by Sergey and Maria Perekopsky. Maria had begun her career by working as a housekeeper at an adult family home. From time to time she voluntarily assisted the residents at the home, after a short while growing very attached to them. When the owner was no longer able to care for one of the residents, Maria took her into her own home. From that point on, she has had the urging desire in her heart to care for the elderly.
Maria went through training, certification, and licensing and opened Loving Care Adult Family Homes. What started off as an adult family home in her own home, has now grown in to two fully accommodating facilities, and over a period of 17 years has brought care, comfort, and peace of mind to over a hundred families.
Our founder
Maria - 25 years of experience. Founder and provider.
Maria's life's passion is to give the gift of love, life, and support to those who need it. For her the biggest reward is to know that she has made a difference in someone's life and has made their day a little brighter.
After her first two residents, who were both with Alzheimer's disease, Maria developed a lot of compassion for those struggling with memory loss. That experience gave her the aspiration to try to understand what those individuals are going though on a daily basis and to learn ways to accommodate their needs. After going through Dementia specialty training, Maria made Loving Care Adult Family Homes into a place that truly specializes in caring for people with memory loss.
